Our Story
Aspire Childcare Project (ACP) was formed in January 2012 to answer the need for affordable quality childcare services in Southwark during term-time and school holidays. Desmond, with many years spent working in the field of childcare prior, has focused on putting together safe and exciting playwork programmes within his chosen childcare facilities: Breakfast Club, After School Club and Holiday Scheme.
At Aspire Childcare project, children are offered a range of rich and varied play opportunities. Planned activities on offer include sports, games, arts & craft, music, drama, homework support and cooking. Qualified and experienced staff are on hand to provide a stimulating programme of activities providing fun and stimulating play opportunities as well as informal learning experience for children. Children also have the opportunity to play freely with their friends.
During term times, breakfast is provided for those who are registered for the breakfast club. For children attending Afterschool Club, we provide a varied healthy snack daily in line with the Every Child Matters (ECM) agenda and holiday schemes. During holiday terms, both a breakfast and an afternoon snack is provided. Your child's religious, cultural, and medical requirements are taken into consideration when providing breakfast and snacks.
We are an OFSTED registered provision. The Aspire Childcare Project offers a provision that is flexible for parents needs and of good value.
